If our parents Adam and Eve had written diaries early, what would they have written?! Mark Twain decided to do the job for them, and in his sophisticated language and sarcastic style, he presented to us a picture of the life of the first man and the first woman, as they would have talked about it. In these memoirs, Adam becomes uncomfortable with the company of this long-haired, talkative creature who is fond of details, and almost does not believe that he was created from his rib. He's never lost a rib before! As for Eve, who is fascinated by the magic of the universe, she contemplates her face on the pages of water, and extends her hands to the sky hoping to catch a star to decorate her hair. She does not miss experimenting on that mysterious, bored creature. She is as confused about Adam as he was about her, but his closeness makes her happy, and his distance makes her uncomfortable. Let us see how the two strangers who were expelled from Paradise by sin will find each other, and how they will accept the third one. Adam's son.
