"You're not the first. And you certainly won't be the last," the woman on the phone told her. The call was from an unknown number. The woman told Rachel that her daughter Kaylee was being held captive by her, and that if she wanted to see her again, she would have to follow her instructions to the letter: pay a ransom, find a new child to kidnap. Just as she had done, in turn, to complete the chain and according to the orders of her bosses. Any tampering or trying to contact the police would cost the kidnapped girl her life.

Kidnapping is just the beginning for the masterminds to get their way through their victims.
